Looking for mentors

We regularly get requests from female TU Delft scientists who would like to discuss issues and questions related to their career (development) with a mentor. We are therefore looking for new mentors, scientists (M/F) from our university who have the position, experience and capacities to assist female scientists with questions regarding their development.

Also, if you are already a mentor, we would appreciate if you could let us know so we can get insight into the (frequency of) mentoring that is already happening.

And we will celebrate our 2019 female cum laude PhDs! The symposium will take place in the Science Centre Delft. Please book it in your calendars.

#ilooklikeaprofessor

Role models can encourage girls to consider joining STEM-related occupations as adults. Female students will be more likely to join these professions if they see people like them in these roles. Delta followed a guest lesson at a Delft primary school from Jenny Dankelman during the Meet the Professor project. Hopefully more women will join this fantastic project next year!
